Short version: We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server when you use it. The only personal data we collect is your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter.

2. What data we collect

Calculator usage — none. The calculator runs entirely client-side in your browser. Your wake time, bedtime, chronotype, medication, and all other inputs are never transmitted to us or any third party.

Newsletter subscription — if you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address only. This is used solely to send the weekly caffeine reset newsletter. We use a third-party email service provider () to manage this list.

Analytics — we use to count page visits. This tool is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information.

Advertising — we display ads via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and collect data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings.

3. How we use your data

Email address — to send the newsletter you subscribed to, nothing else
Aggregate analytics — to understand how many people use the tool and which pages are visited
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

4. Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. Google AdSense may set third-party cookies for ad personalisation. Our analytics tool does not use cookies.

6. Health data notice

Your Coffee Time may ask about ADHD status and medication type to personalise the caffeine schedule. This information is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We do not store, log, or retain any health-related inputs.

7. Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our active list and deleted within 30 days from our email service provider's systems.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
